• Links and Access to Other Web sites: IBMRC is not responsible for and has no control over the contents of or information provided in the sites linked to or accessible from this site. Your linking to any other Web site is at your own risk, and IBMRC accepts no liability for the contents, accuracy, or currency of Web sites that link to or from this site. IBMRC does not endorse any linked Web site and is not responsible for any transmission received from any linked Web site.

• Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold IBMRC and its affiliates, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by you or any third party due to or arising out of your use of this site or any of the Content contained in this site.

• Confidential Information and Security Measures: IBMRC makes reasonable efforts to safeguard the information received on this website.  Security measures are in place consistent with good business practices. We cannot, however, provide absolute assurance that this information is completely safe from "hackers" or others who might illegally gain access to this information.

• Scope of Location: At this time, we only accept as customers people who have 1) seen us in-person at our office for a patient-care doctor's visit, and/or 2) customers within the United States.  We may open our shipping services to other countries in the future; but for now, we will only accept payment and ship products within the United States of America.

• Policies for refund, exchange, cancellation for books: Double-check your order before you make your purchase so there is less hassle for all of us. We are charged $25 for credit card returns by the credit card processing company so all refunds are accompanied by a fee to the customer of at least $25. Exchanges might be possible if communicated and confirmed before the order is sent, but no assurance can be made; again, customers should be sure of their purchases when ordering. Canceled orders are charged $25 fee from the credit card company. We do not accept returns on books because what is being sold and purchased is intellectual property, which is delivered in the form of a book. Once the book has arrived, the information has arrived and therefore the customer has received in full the property therein. Furthermore, since the books sold on this website are textbooks used in college courses, they are not returnable. If you want to buy from a company that allows returns, please buy our books from Amazon.com.\

• Privacy policy: This information applies to OptimalHealthResearch.com and all of its directly affiliated websites: We do not collect any information about you other than what you type into the fields, such as your email address and your comments--if you have joined one of our newsletter lists, you did so voluntarily and can be unlisted at any time. We keep a record of purchases and shipping addresses to ensure that packages are sent to the right address with the right products. That is it. We have no intention, interest, or time to invade anyone's privacy, and we do not sell, rent, or loan information to anyone for any reason whatsoever.

• Shipping and handling: The automated charge for "shipping" includes the costs for "shipping and handling." Shipping costs include the box, the tape, the label, the product protection such as foam, wrapping, etc and the costs we incur for obtaining these. Handling costs include curriers, employee salaries, etc. The majority of orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. International postage rates are calculated automatically; adjustments and corrections are made at time of processing. Buyers need to pay for shipping in order for purchases to be processed: The price of the books covers the cost of the books, but does not include shipping/handling/courier/customs charges. In order to have the books shipped, any applicable shipping/handling/courier/customs charges must be paid, and these are calculated automatically at the time of check-out and payment. Purchasers are welcome select "no shipping charge" under the 3 following circumstances: 1) purchaser is picking-up books, 2) previous arrangements have been made for personal delivery/pick-up, 3) purchaser is making bulk order for 20 or more books. Otherwise, shipping/handling costs must be paid at time of check-out in order for the purchase to be processed and shipped. Orders placed without payment of shipping charges will be cancelled. Any return of books is allowed only if 1) books are returned in re-sellable condition preferably with the original seal on the box not broken, and 2) our original shipping costs will be deducted from the amount of any refund. These are the "terms of agreement" with purchases from this site.

• Accurate address to be provided by purchaser: Purchasers are responsible for providing an accurate mailing address serviceable by the US Postal Service or international postal offices. Nearly all packages are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and the addresses are confirmed via USPS delivery verification. If an unserviceable address is provided by purchaser and this problem is recognized by USPS, one email will be sent to purchaser to verify/correct the mailing address. If response/correction is not received by time of shipment, then the address used will be the address that was provided by the purchaser, and books may be shipped by media mail since USPS Priority Mail requires a verifiable address. You can verify your mailing address here; if you want us to use a non-verifiable address please request this at time of check-out and note that this may result in a delay in the receipt of your product(s). USPS Priority Mail: In order to ship books faster and more safely, we use USPS Priority Mail (rather than media mail), which has the additional benefit of allowing you to track your orders. Rarely, if more economical, we will use FedEx or UPS.
