Dr Vasquez's comment: Although I don't consider this book perfect (for example, I think people do need to take vitamin supplements, and I think one should not cook with flaxseed oil), this book is helpful for providing concepts (first half of book) and recipes (second half of book) that can make healthy eating and healthy living much more accessible to the general population. Of note, Dr Cordain is a well-respected researcher in the nutrition field. Tastes of the Mediterranean (Family Circle Step-by-Step)
